Service Technician - Industrial Resource Group

Details: Objective:To increase levels of customer service by performing preventive maintenance and making repairs on equipment within his area of responsibility as need in the most effective and cost-efficient way possible to avoid down time at the customer location.Responsibilities:Service equipment correctly on the first attempt as required and avoid unnecessary down-timeFabricate parts as needed to meet needsPerform safety inspections on equipmentMaintain a clean and safe working environment (service truck or shop work station)Meet all company, governmental and equipment-specific safety requirementsOther duties as assigned by manager or supervisorHigh school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desiredValid Driver's License with acceptable driving history.2+ years experience in servicing and troubleshooting industrial equipment (pneumatic and electric winches and hoists, electric pipe threaders and conduit benders, hydraulic jacking equipment, and welding equipment)Must own and be able to safely use personal mechanic's tools.Excellent trouble-shooting skillsAbility to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignmentsMust possess a high degree of safety-awarenessWorking knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements.We offer competitive pay and benefits, 401(K)Plan with Matching, Training and Monthly Profit Sharing based on profitability.
