Industrial Engineer

Sales Engineer Industrial Motors / Entry Level

Details: Leading manufacturer of specialized motion control motors used for engineering applications seeks a Entry Level Sales Engineer to cover the San Jose, Bay Area territory and surrounding area. This is a ground floor opportunity for a recent college graduate with less than 2 years work experience. Duties will be selling a full line of specialized motors to Manufacturers and OEM accounts.   Additional responsibilities will be to work with independent distribution teams to assist in driving sales.  Salary will be between $63K and $68K DOE + all expenses + car allowance + a bonus program + excellent benefits.   BSEE or BSME plus 1 year sales (any field) or 1 year related work experience is required. Industrial Engineer

Details: FOX Racing Shox is a leading designer and manufacturer of high end suspension products for mountain bikes, all terrain vehicles (ATV’s), snowmobiles, and other off-road vehicles. Fox is a tier one supplier to leading bicycle original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), sells in the aftermarket to specialty bike retailers, supplies suspension products to ATV and snowmobile OEMs, and to off-road distributors.SUMMARY:Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components sub-assemblies and final assemblies.  Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendation for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Formulate and apply analytical modeling and other optimizing methods for best performance metrics for scheduling and line management, productivity, cycle time and on time delivery.  As required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.  RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs portions of engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacturing of parts, component sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements. Implements and executes established time standards, production area layouts, and requirements for manufacturing tooling and processes for subsystems and portions of new products; develops cost estimates, capacity models, and recommendations for tooling and process requirements. Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners regarding process and standards compliance, manufacturing issues, and recommendations for problem resolution for manufacture of existing products. Participates as a member of project team of other manufacturing engineers and internal and outsourced manufacturing partners to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions for low to moderately-complex products from new-product introduction through end of lifecycle. Ability to widely apply industrial engineering concepts, principles and theories.
