Details: BRIEF SUMMARY General Laborers maintain highly specialized railway maintenance equipment that is contracted to major railroads throughout North America. Operation of the equipment may also be required in addition to the maintenance. Some required duties include, but not limited to, checking gauges and readings, oil and fluid changes, cleaning the machine, and basic to advanced mechanical repairs.*THIS POSITION STARTS AT $9.00 PER HOUR FOR NEW HIRES As a new hire, you can expect to earn between $35,000 to $45,000 your first year.•Time and a half is paid after 40 hours per week. Telecommunications Construction Laborer

Details: Experience (Years): .. Category: ConstructionOverview:Perform tasks involving limited physical labor at telecommunications and construction sites.Responsibilities:May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May conduct small scale carpentry projects to include building formwork for cellular tower foundations.  May operate limited heavy or light equipment to include a trackhoe, bobcat, backhoe, and pick-up trucks.  May clean and prepare sites, set braces to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris, and remove construction debris and other hazardous waste materials.
